First Unity Project Final Video

I worked my buttox off on a low powered computer to produce this. It's short and sweet, enjoy.

Unity Tips Lesson 4

Math is the bane of thine existence, but I think I can handle it.

Unity tips lesson 3

The neighbor system sounds slightly complicated, but I am admittedly a tad happy I won't have to deal with apple nodes to guide bots.

Unity Tips lesson 2

Use of the culling mask seems like it'll come in handy.

Unity Video Upload

So I didn't have a mic at the time, so I just used word and paint to get my points accross.
I had a lot of trouble adding health, so I couldn't finish that.
I also had some trouble getting the next level to load. For some reason my monkey idol stopped responding. I'll see if that can be fixed by class.

Scripting with Lantern Feul (Lesson 17)

I'm starting to understand scripting much better. I actually figured out a small problem the tutorial guy presented before he addressed it!~

Lesson 15 of Unity, Scripting annoyance

I follow along with the tutorial guy, do everything he does the way he does, loaded from his scene, and it gives me errors! I don't quite understand what's going on, but I opened his file of the next lesson and still had errors.

Scripting: "Hello World! I've spawned a spark of insanity!"

So I've managed up to lesson 14 so far, and I'm currently diving into the world of scripting (obviously).
I've ran into a few hitches where Mr. tutorial wasn't much help, but other than that I've done quite fine.
By the way, any and all hitches I've encountered in scripting (as of now) I've easily dealt with.
I've gotta study for a pretty hefty test, so finishing 14 will be my stopping point for now (until class at least).

Lesson 11: Rigid Body and such

Using physics along with RigidBody seems like it could be fun.

Dirty Field. Dirty, DIRTY FIELD!

Particles! I love playing with particles!

Lesson 9: Baking the Lights (Or lack there of)

I understand the whole thing about adding light orbs for the mapbaking, but without Unity Pro Version I'm not able to fully delve into these matters, which makes me sad. I enjoy playing with the lighting and such.

Lesson 7-8 in Unity: Lights and Set Dressings

So we're not able to use the full power of lighting in Unity, since we only have the free version. We aren't able to do any shadow effects, which makes me rather sad.

Unity Lesson 6 - Welcome to Your Maze Little Rat

Working with prefabs seem pretty easy, The hardest part is probably just lining up textures.
I'm probably just going to work off of his project files, for the sake of consistency.

Checkpoint: Lesson 5

I just finished the fifth video, and I noticed something a little wonky.
On video 4, he says to go in and apply changes, but the box to do that wasn't in my version of unity. It's the little spot circled in blue on the picture.
I've been dealing with some issues (mostly personal, anxiety related) so I haven't been as productive as I would like. And for that, I apologize.
Oh, and lesson 5 was about applying materials and textures, just so you know.

UDK Carnival Project Update

Here's what I have so far. I DO want to upgrade/fix it, but that's assuming that I have free time... and we know what people say about those that assume.

Working with Unity

I've gotten through the second Unity video, and I must say that I'm a little excited. I'm currently in the process of downloading the project files (just in case) and it's taking a while (from the maclab). Anyone who downloads the files be prepared to wait at least an hour.

My video for the UDK project will hopefully be put up after my shift in the maclab is over. I'd try my video here, but it's a little too noisy for any actual proper recordings.

Shark-de-Karneval!

So here's my current progress on the fair project. There's still some stuff I want to do, and some stuff I want to learn how to fix, but this is what I'll be turning in (for now).
Comments or Suggestions? I'd love to hear them!

The Karneval is in Progress

I went in and realized how badly I do with textures. I plan on at some point getting a friend or two to help me out in that department.
I've also been working on my "creepy toy" but keep running into problems when I try to open it a second time. I will most likely either start that one again from scratch or see if Jeff can solve the problem around class time. It's not really a pressing issue at the moment, but I'd at least like to get the thing made.
The top is a view of my platform where the tents and player will be, the second is the inside of my biggest tent and the death hole there. I'd like to take the water out of my pit, but until then I have an auto kill set up upon entering the hole.If things can get fixed up, then the player will actually fall down to his or her doom.
